Nollywood actress Chizzy Alichi is overflowing with gratitude as she joyfully announces the arrival of her baby boy. In an emotional message shared with her fans, the actress expressed profound thanks to God for seeing her and her family through what she described as the most difficult period of her life.

“My boy is here! I don’t even know where to start, but all I can say is thank you, God Almighty, for what you have done for me and my family,” she wrote.

Chizzy revealed that her son, Kenechukwu, was born prematurely at just 30 weeks and spent 25 days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The weeks leading up to his birth were filled with anxiety and prayers, as a medical condition was detected during her pregnancy. From constant hospital visits, weekly scans, and extended bed rest, the actress endured both physical and emotional challenges.

“I cried. I prayed. I joined different online prayer sessions. I paid tithes in various churches, both online and offline, thinking maybe God was upset with me. It seems funny now, but at the time, I was just desperately seeking divine intervention.”

A devout Catholic, Chizzy said she spent countless hours in chapel and extended her faith through charity — visiting orphanages and helping the less fortunate. She even turned to her late father’s portrait in prayer, holding on to a deep belief that his spirit was watching over her.

“I always prayed with his portrait because we were very close. After his passing, I kept saying, ‘Papa, I thought you said you would come back to me — what’s going on?’ It was a tough season, but I held on to faith.”

Now, with her beautiful baby boy finally home and healthy, Chizzy Alichi is filled with joy and thanksgiving.

“My cutest Kenechukwu is home and he’s perfect! 💃💃💃 God is too faithful to fail. Those who put their trust in Him will never be put to shame. God is the Greatest! 🙏”

Fans and colleagues have flooded her with congratulatory messages and prayers, celebrating both the strength of a mother and the miracle of new life.
